James Blair High School Multi-Year Reunion September 24, 2011 4:00-9:00 p.m.
We are excited to announce another Multi-Year Reunion for James Blair High School. This reunion will be the 2nd Multi-Year Reunion - the first one was held in 2006 in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of James Blair and cumulated in the formation of the official James Blair High School Alumni Association. We expect another great party - there were 700 attendees at the last one!

(1) The Alumni Association has worked hard to keep the costs down for this event. We certainly recognize that funds are tight for everyone these days - your $45 fee includes dinner; entertainment (DJ Philip Newberry - WMBG); decorations; large tent & table/chairs for dinner (Sterling Events); parking, security; insurance; and lots of other things required to put a function like this together.

(2) You can register for the Reunion by sending your check to the Alumni Association. Keep in mind that you can post-date your check for July 15 and that if the event is cancelled, your check/funds will be returned. (3) While the dinner is provided, you should plan to bring whatever you need to enjoy the afternoon/evening with friends, including your own beverages (including adult beverages), snacks, etc. (4) The 4-H Campground has offered us a great price to use their facility, a different event is scheduled for the next day so we are required to end the reunion at 9:00 p.m. in order to have it clean and ready for the next group. (5) As you might expect with a function this large, volunteers are much appreciated - please let us know if you can help. We anticipate some members of the earlier classes needing assistance with their dinner plates, etc. (6) If there is interest from the Class of 73', we could arrange for a Friday night function as well -- perhaps meeting someplace for social time and drink. Let us knowif any of you are interested in this and we will try get some options going. (7) While the Alumni Association doesn't require a registration form for the event, we see a need for a form (sorry more work). So, take a minute to complete the form - be sure to include the name of your spouse/guest if you are paying for 2 people and - be sure to note any special accommodations you or your guest may require (food allergies/vegetarian meal/mobility issues/etc.). Please include this form with your check. We continue to represent the Class of 73' at the planning meetings, etc. so let us know if you have any concerns or additional comments concerning the planned reunion. Sure hope to see you there to help "Keep the Memories Going". Let us know if we can answer any questions or help with anything.
